Completely off-topic with trading here. I went to a big poverty (microfinance) conference here locally at BYU last week with my wife, it was awesome. I’ve been involved with this stuff for a while; microlending is the most efficient way of helping the destitutely poor and suffering that I know of. I’ve noticed over the years that it’s becoming quite a big thing, and Muhammad Yunus (one of the big microcredit pioneers) won the Nobel Peace Price for this last year.
Anyway, here is an intro video done by one of the big microcredit charities. The best, and most interesting, 10 minutes you’ll watch today! Email me if you have any questions about this stuff. You know, altruism makes for a better trader (it is true!)
